LA CITY COUNCIL - The time has long since passed that Neighborhood Councils be given some real authority.

THE DOCTOR IS IN - I am a huge fan of parks, pools, waterways, museums, etc.

LA WATCHING - Please! Pretty please! With azúcar on top! I beg you—Kevin de León and Gilbert Cedillo—not to resign your seats on the Los Angeles City Council like Nury Martinez did.

HOUSING CRISIS - By almost any measure, Los Angeles has one of the most serious housing crises of any major American city. Polls repeatedly show that the public ranks housing and homelessness as Los Angeles’ most serious problems.

LA TRANSPO - Over fifty years since it was first envisioned, the new Metro Rail Crenshaw Line/K Line opened October 7, 2022.

LA GOVERNMENT - We have had a devastating week in the City of Los Angeles.  One that has brought into sharp focus the reality that we need more accountability, transparency, and ethics from our elected officials.

LA POLITICAL SCANDAL - With every crisis comes an opportunity. The City of Los Angeles is undergoing the worst political crisis we have seen in decades.

Los Angeles is a massive city. It is the second largest city in the United States, with a metro area population of over 12.4 million.

THE VIEW FROM HERE - LA County has over 251,000 vacant units and only 66,000 homeless people. The city has about 44,000 homeless. 

LA TRANSPO - One of the newest light rail Metro projects, the West Santa Ana Transit Corridor, will serve an under-served area of Los Angeles County.  Where is the latecomer, time delaying, disruptive and unnecessary monorail alternative?
