CommentsLEANING RIGHT--When Newsweek allows an op-ed about the Media calling Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot a Racist because she will not allow white journalists and reporters any interviews, while the media ignores that terrible truth, we've got a Racism problem in America.
When Hawaii Democratic Representative Tulsi Gabbard and local WMAQ-TV reporter are emblematic of those condemning Mayor Lightfoot's horribly racist proclamation, and that doesn't make national news, we've got a Racism problem in America.
When the Chicago Fraternal Order of Police issues a vote of no-confidence in Mayor Lightfoot, citing work conditions and the cancellation of a march for fallen officers (so many of whom are black and Latino), and while Chicago homicides are at record levels (so many of whom are also black and Latino), and it's being ignored, we've got a Racism problem in America.
When Martin Luther King's grand-niece Alveda King and former civil rights icon Leo Terrell have been driven away from the Far Left because of people like Mayor Lightfoot (who've both put their financial and political reputations on the line, and with significantly negatively impacts because of their stances), and they are summarily dismissed, we've got a Racism problem in America.
When the local Chicago Tribune praises Mayor Lightfoot for calling for healing and unity against systemic racism at the city's annual interfaith MLK celebration (see above about Alveda King), all the while ignoring black deaths surging for years in Chicago on Lightfoot's watch, and promoting racial and political DIS-unity, we've got a Racism problem.
And when the Babylon Bee can make successful criticism of Mayor Lightfoot for NEVER allowing individuals such as black journalist Thomas Sowell to interview her because he is conservative, we've got a Racism problem in America.
Because Mayor Lightfoot is emblematic NOT of liberals who want discussion, but of cruel Leftist divisionists who want anything BUT dialogue and unity.
And on her watch, as with so many other cities, Leftist/Racial opportunists are screaming about racism "on the other side" while getting away with their own, blatant, in-your-face racism.
And they're getting away with it.
We've got a racism problem in America, all right, and we're seeing and yet ignoring that the black and Latino segments of our nation are suffering, and will inevitably suffer, the worst in the future while those ignoring them making economic and political points all the while.
So shall we ignore where at least one part of the most blatant Racism problem in America is coming from?
Shall we ignore a New Racism that's tearing America apart?
Until now, apparently YES. And such a terrible pity when so many are officially calling for unity while THEY are the ones promoting DIS-unity...including a significant number of those reading this now.
