A.C.T. MUMBO JUMBO - President Donald Trump has been unambiguous and pushing members of Congress to pass his Safeguard American Voter Eligibility ACT (SAVE AMERICAN ACT). What is the SAVE AMERICAN ACT? It is Trumps new voting initiative which would guarantee election security.

Trump continues to maintain that he was elected as president in the 2020 presidential election.

As to ensure the legitimacy of the upcoming 2026 midterm elections Trump wants to eliminate voting by mail in ballots. Trump himself recently voted by a mail in ballot in his home state of Florida.

The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility ACT (SAVE AMERICAN ACT) would also require that those individuals who arrive at their polling locations either show an American Passport or a REAL ID to ensure their legal right to vote.

For those individuals who lack either a REAL ID or a American Passport then they must have in their possession and display a valid certified copy of their birth certificate prior to being a able to cast a vote in person.

Now this would be no problem for males who go to their assigned polling places If the male does not have a REAL ID or a Passport then he must have a certified copy of his birth certificate.  However, when it comes to females one can see how millions of females would be deprived of their rights to cast a ballot.

If  a married female lacks both a REAL ID and American Passport and goes to her polling place and only provides a certified copy of her birth certificate, she would not be able to cast a ballot.   She would have to provide a certified copy of her marriage certificate to prove that her current last name was legally obtained.

Now if the female was married and then divorced and remarried, she would have to provide 1. Certified copy of birth certificate, 2. certified copy of first marriage certificate, 3. certified copy of divorce degree and then 4. certified copy of second marriage certificate.

If the female in question was widowed and remarried all of the above would apply except the female would now have to provide a certified copy of previous spouse’s death certificate.

When I went to a California office of the Department of Motor Vehicles to obtain a Real ID

I was told to come back when I had documented prove showing my maiden name became the legal name of my first spouse and then became the legal name of my second spouse.  I had all of my certified copies with the exception of the certified copy of my first marriage subsequent divorce. I did have my certified copy of my second marriage. I was told come back with the additional certified documentations and then I could obtain a REAL ID.

Now I ask you, does a male have to jump through these hoops?

Not only are millions of women going to be disenfranchised but if Trump has his way and abolish mail in ballots then those individuals that are hospitalized, homebound or disabled will be denied the opportunity to cast their ballots.

Is this the new AMERICAN WAY?
