CommentsCITYWATCH TODAY—What do people do these days when they get ‘mad as hell’ and decide they’re ‘not going to take it anymore’? Some of them become Trumpsters and … determined to replace America’s political business-as-usual … at any cost. Ken Alpern provides his Trumps-eye view of that phenomenon in Today’s CityWatch.
The granny flats debate has pushed some hot buttons in our fair city. Has a lot of folks upset. None more, however, than those who showed up at City Council last week and were eventually turned away without public comment time. The granny flats vote was rescheduled. Some say, because the Council got a bit nervous about which way the vote was heading. Dannielle Langlois and Carlyle Hall are among the offended … and offer granny flat perspectives for your consideration.
Then, there’s angry Dennis Hathaway. Councilman Englander publicly accused LA’s Billboard Watchdog of posting less than accurate information on CityWatch. When Dennis gets mad as hell he writes open letters. We have his letter to Englander in Today’s CityWatch.
And, 104,000 Angelenos said they weren’t going to take it anymore by signing the Neighborhood Integrity Initiative petition … a first step for getting the measure on LA’s 2017 spring ballot. In case you missed it, CityWatch has that report for you as well. Check it out. Join the crusade.
There’s more: How do we know when we’re dead? Do pets need their own attorneys? Can Frank Gehry be moved? All in Today’s CityWatch.
Take a look. Let us know what you think. We’re good listeners.
