Venice Locals Fed Up as Out-of-State Transients Settle on Rialto!

THE WESTSIDE - With the Thanksgiving holiday just around the corner, what is being done by LA City officials to end the endless parking lot of illegal vehicles permanently camped on the 500 block of Rialto here in Venice?

Apparently not much as both homeowners and tenants continue to seek help to end this invasion of campers that have no standing or reason to be parked in this neighborhood.

Here you see two vehicles with license plates from Arizona as well as Florida, which begs the question why are these campers not immediately moved?

Both vehicles have expired tags and should be towed, but continue to be on the streets.

The question is why?

Most residents don’t understand why these vehicles are enabled, and why are these campers not moved, like neighboring municipalities?

Do Venice residents have a right to have illegal, permanently parked vehicles not in front of their homes for days, weeks or months at a time?

Why are these van dwellers allowed to invade residential neighborhoods here in Venice, and seemingly only Venice?

Does this problem exist in the exclusive neighborhood of Pacific Palisades?

Doubtful.
