Pick A Campaign And Pick Up A Phone

POLITICS

DEEGAN ON LA— California’s Democratic Congressional Candidates need votes and volunteers. Los Angeles Democrats, from the far-left progressives to the center of the spectrum moderates, can set aside their nuances and pull together to support six Congressional candidates convert six shaky seats into a solid blue wall of Californians in Congress.

These are mainly seats that voted for Biden in 2020 but some flipped red in 2022. Often characterized as “purple”, now it’s time to flip them back to solid blue.

It could be the difference between a Democratic Congress and a Republican Congress.

The Democratic candidates in the vulnerable seats are:

•      Adam Gray (CD-13)

•      Rudy Salas (CD-22)

•      George Whitesides (CD-27)

•      Will Rollins (CD-41)

•      Derek Tran (CD-45)

•      Dave Min (CD 47)

While cash is limited to $3,500 cash per donor for Congressional candidates, there’s no ceiling to the number of hours allowed for postcard writing, canvassing (door knocking) and phone banking with calls or text messages.

These three activities are the nucleus of a ground game for any GOTV (get out the vote) organized political campaign.

If door knocking is too far away for you, making phone calls or texting, or writing postcards are valuable political activities that can be done remotely from home. Let the campaign know you’re ready to volunteer for them.

The candidates, and how to learn more about them and to volunteer for them, are:
