ALPERN AT LARGE - A little late here, since International Holocaust Remembrance Day was the 27th of January, but while that marks the anniversary of the liberation of the Jews being slaughtered in Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp in 1945, the same U.N. that designated that day is now trying to create a new Holocaust.
I am sure that at this point, many readers will think, “Hey! If Gaza isn’t a modern-day concentration camp, then what is? Aren’t Israelis and other supportive Jews and non-Jews throughout the world being horrible hypocrites and promoting a Jewish-created concentration camp?”
Considering the lousy education we’re giving young people, and considering the latent and blatant antisemitism that’s seething through our campuses and throughout the world, it’s not hard to wonder why these questions are being confronted…
…and confronted by those so ignorant and miseducated that they’ve no idea of how they’ve been turned into “useful idiots” by the antisemites in Gaza, the U.N., and throughout the world.
Several critical responses, and really the answer to those timely questions:
1) The U.N. has been thoroughly anti-Israel virtually from its very beginning, has thwarted the two-nation solution again and again, and has watched over a Middle East that has thrown out Jews from virtually all nations in that region.
2) Gaza was allowed to be an independent prototype of a free Palestine, and what did its citizens do when they had the chance? Treat its population like dirt, while (like North Korea) they threw all their resources to killing its neighbor.
3) The U.N. has a small army of anti-Israel (not just pro-Palestine, but throw out and/or kill the Jews) fighters and politicians actively trying to end Israel and kill both its Jewish and non-Jewish citizens, most recently with UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees) members actually having their hands bloody with the slaying and kidnapping that occurred in Israel on October 7th, 2023, as CNN reports.
4) Ditto for UNICEF and the so-called Civil Rights Council that includes such lovely nations like China, Cuba, Pakistan, and the Russian Federation.
5) Every single Gazan civilian injury and death has been caused by those Gazans who supported and then cheered the October 7th killing and raping of civilians by Hamas, and who (unlike the conflict in Gaza now going on) intentionally sought out those civilians.
6) Those who supported, and who still support, Hamas in Gaza are NOT innocent civilians, and have misused the fortune of foreign aid to support terrorism against Israel rather than show the world that a responsible, non-terrorist Palestinian state was and is possible.
7) A slow but steady rise in anti-Hamas sentiment of Palestinians is the only political approach that Gaza and the West Bank have for a possible future Palestine, which may be occurring (LINK: https://www.breitbart.com/middle-east/2024/01/27/watch-palestinians-gaza-chant-the-people-want-to-overthrow-hamas/). We can only hope!
8) However, what we’ve seen in the rise of Palestinians and history-eschewing “useful idiots” in our universities and throughout the world who actually SUPPORT Hamas, is no different than those Nazi sympathizers who thought that the Nazis didn’t go far enough.
After all, antisemitism in the United States did NOT end after World War II, any more than anti-black and anti-brown sentiment ended after World War II. Israel earned the respect of the West…and now a younger indoctrinated society in that same West is supporting (whether realized or not) terrorism over democracy.
And now the Left, who claims to be the intellectual superiors of all humans living on this planet, is declaring that Oslo, Camp David, Carter, Clinton, Bush Jr., and all others who tried to push for a two-state solution were and are meaningless.
History is nothing to the Left, who are clearly taking over as the main source of antisemitism being pushed throughout the globe, and “Never Again” has, in their minds, morphed into a “Better Luck This Time Around” in the goal of exterminating Jews from Planet Earth.
