Under the visionary leadership of CEO Terrance Stone, YVYLA continues its tradition of innovative and entertaining fundraising activities that unite Riverside, San Bernardino, the OC, and Los Angeles Counties for a singular cause: empowering youth.
This year’s gala isn't just any Mayor’s Ball; it’s the "Mayor’s Sneaker Ball,"spotlighting and honoring four esteemed Mayors from across the Inland Empire: Mayor Acquanetta Warren of Fontana, Mayor Helen Tran of San Bernardino, Mayor Elizabeth "Liz" Becerra of Victorville, and Mayor Deborah Robertson of Rialto.
The "Mayor’s Sneaker Ball" is set to take place on May 17th, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at California State University, San Bernardino. An evening of elegance and philanthropy, the event promises to be a memorable occasion, blending recognition of exemplary leadership with vibrant entertainment.
A highlight of the gala will be the prestigious "Visionary City Awards," honoring these exceptional mayors for their unwavering dedication to building visionary cities that uplift their communities. These influential women represent the rich tapestry of cultures within our region, and their contributions deserve commendation.
"We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mayor Acquanetta Warren, Mayor Helen Tran, Mayor Elizabeth 'Liz' Becerra, and Mayor Deborah Robertson for their tireless efforts in enhancing the quality of life for all residents," expressed Jennifer Rosales, Administrative Manager of YVYLA.
The event will feature a star-studded Red Carpet, curated by Entertainment Publicist KimiRhochelle of KRPR Media, providing a platform for Mayors, Officials, VIPs, and Sponsors to shine. WELLNESS--I’ve been taking a social media vacation. I needed a break. The more people I speak with, it seems that I am not alone.
WELLNESS--We have been having record breaking heat in Southern California and with the planet continuing to warm up, there’s a good chance we have not seen the end of it.
This past week Los Angeles and San Diego have felt more like Arizona with temperatures reaching 117 in some places. Heat records all over southern California were toppled and at one point in Los Angeles alone there were over 32,000 residents without power.
WELLNESS--For starters, the all or nothing attitude towards exercise is not the mindset we want to hold.
