VOICES-In response to an October 29, 2020 CityWatch opinion piece about DxE, counsel of DxE informed us of the following: No grooming allegations have ever been made against DxE or anyone in its leadership, neither in the Berkeleyside article referenced in CityWatchLA’s piece nor anywhere else, apart from a single, not credible allegation by what is termed as a ‘high-profile accuser.’
VOICES—Dear Councilman Krekorian. You have hurt Studio City in so many ways I do not know where to start.
VOICES--The Hollywood building where iconic Pop-artist, educator and social justice advocate Corita Kent (1918-1986) worked in the 1960’s is currently slated for demolition.
VOICES--Parking enforcement resumes Thursday October 15, 2020 in the City of Los Angeles, for street cleaning, abandoned vehicles, oversize and overnight restrictions, peak hourand anti-gridlock zones, and expired registration.
VOICES-Verizon has installed a Cell Street Light right in front of our building in the 2300 block of Beverly Glen in WLA despite our objections.
VOICES-It’s interesting that the authors of the article “As Fires Rage, California Must Stop Building in Burn Zones” mentioned only the Tejon Ranch and Northlake projects in the Santa Clarita area and totally ignored the huge 21,500 unit Newhall Ranch project west of the I-5 on Highway 126, also in a high fire-hazard zone.
VOICES--Above please find picture I took of the West LA Civic Center … home of Council District 11 in the West LA. So, I told Neighborhood Councils. Also, the home of the West LA farmer’s market.
VOICES— The residents of 5110 and 5120 W. Washington Blvd (90016), a former motel built in 1946 and illegally converted to residential housing in recent years, received notices on May 29, 2020, that they had 30 days to vacate the premises.
VOICES--I was just reading up on a CityWatch article and noticed some troubling information.
VOICES--Developer corruption is an on-going way of life at LA city hall. Since 2006, every single member of LA City Council has engaged in felony behavior. That is what makes the FBI’s case bizarre; Huizar’s behavior is common.
VOICES-Imagine that after a long career in building design and a list of over 4000 buildings in Los Angeles that people would remember an architect for his ability to sketch upside down.
WORLD WATCH-In at least 10 areas, Trump has inflicted a severe injury on the American public, on the country as a whole, and on America’s reputation abroad.

VOICES--I’ve been a voter in LA County for over 40 years and this is the most disorganized I have ever seen in my history of voting.
VOICES--This may be a non-issue, but while walking my dog today I noticed some trucks with the "City of LA" logo on them. One of them was a rental truck (from Herc Rentals) full of tools and pulling a small utility trailer of some sort.

VOICES--LADWP has been working closely with LAFD investigators to inspect electrical equipment that was believed to have been struck by a dried tree branch near the location where the Getty Fire is suspected to have started.
VOICES--I am writing you to request cure and correct for actions taken by the Olympic Park Neighborhood Council (OPNC) in violation of the Brown Act. I am including a copy of my October public comment which I presented partially to the Board, to which I only read up to “Members of the OPNC have been found to communicate city business through personal email accounts.”
