The FBI’s Hate Crime Statistics confirm that anti-Jewish hate crimes comprise roughly 69% of all religiously motivated hate crimes in the United States, despite Jews making up only about 2% of the national population. In Los Angeles, roughly 80% of religiously hate crime attacks are against us Jews.
So Why Call Out Nithya Raman – The Hasan Piker Show
After Nithya Raman’s appearance on Hasan Piker’s live stream on May 18th, a couple, who were visibly Jewish, because the man was wearing a kippah, were attacked by Mr. Nay Min Tar, who stopped his car in traffic, brandished a baseball bat, and chased the Jews, while screaming "f*ing Jewish" and "genocide." Next, he got his Cane Corso dog, sicced the dog on the man. The court slashed his bail from $50,000 to only $2,500 and Mr. Tar quickly bailed out so that he continues to roam LA streets searching for Jews.
What, If Any, Was Nithya Raman’s Role?
While Ms. Raman may only have been seeking more votes on June 2, her statements implying that LA Jews support genocide and apartheid certainly did nothing to make us Jews safer.
Hasan Piker, who broadcasts from his home in West Hollywood, has between 27,000 to 35,000 concurrent viewers per stream with 3 million followers on Twitch for a total social media following of 11 million. Nithya Raman intended her interview to be broadcast to this huge public which is almost 3 times Los Angeles’ 3.8 Million residents. 70% to 80% of Piker’s audience fall within the 18–34 age range. Along with Gen Zer’s (14 to 29 yrs old), Millennials (30 to 45 yrs old) are the most anti-Semitic generation, while Baby Boomers (born 1945 and after) are the least anti-Semitic. Traditionally, younger Democrats vote the least, while the older generation votes the most. Hasan Piker did not catch Nithya Raman unawares, but rather the smart money realizes that she appeared expressly to let her views on Israel committing genocide and being an apartheid state known. Only Piker reaches such a huge number of anti-Semitic Woke youth so that she could garner enough votes to outdistance the present # 2 vote getter, Spencer Pratt. Statistics show that unless Raman stimulated the GenZer’s and Millennial voters to support her, Raman would not make it into the November run-off against Mayor Karen Bass.

Piker: 51 minutes, 16 seconds: Do you believe that that Israel is an apartheid state then?
Raman: 51:20, “I think that it is. I've spoken out against the violence in Gaza. I've uh I was the co-author of a ceasefire resolution at city hall. Never was voted on, but I but I co-authored it and put it forward. I was actually the first person to talk about um the violence against Palestinians in in the building.”
Later she agrees with Piker that Israel commits genocide in Israel and for that reason, the LAPD should not have any dealings with Israel. Here is a snippet of the long exchange.
Hasan: 1:10:10 “Do you believe that our police force [LAPD] should be using our tax taxpayer dollars to go train in a country that's actively committing an internationally recognized genocide by the very same forces that are committing said genocide?”
Raman: 1:10:26 You know, I would say here that I don't think LAPD should be.

Two Modern Anti-Semitic Tropes
The two statements about Israel, with which Nithya Raman agreed, have been proven to be totally false with no factual basis: (1) Israel commits genocide of Palestinians in general and specifically of Gazan, and (2) Israel is an apartheid state. The fact that these falsehoods are widely circulated by the US media does not change facts; it only distorts people’s perception of reality. Some still believe that The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is accurate.
Nithya Raman, so I’ve been informed, does not like being called anti-Semitic. Since this writer is not a mind reader, we shan’t call Nithya Raman anti-Jewish for agreeing to proven anti-Semitic tropes. Since hundreds of thousands of Jewish Angelenos support Israel, we are the closest targets for crazies who believe Piker and Raman.
Her credentials on apartheid are that she is from India. She left when she was six years old. She has never been to Israel or Gaza. All Israelis have the same civil rights and Arab and Muslim citizens can hold military office, become judges, and be elected to the Knesset. Israel does allow Arab Muslims and Christians the option to serve or not to serve in the IDF, and until very recently Ultra-Orthodox Jews had the same choice.
The Genocide Charge is Objectively False
The genocide charge has two parts: (1) Israel has historically been murdering Palestinians in order to exterminate them, and (2) that now in Gaza, Israel is carrying out its genocide plan. Let’s be clear about one thing. It is 1987 Hamas’ Charter that calls for the total extermination of Jews and there is no such Jewish call against anyone.
In 1948, Gaza had between 60,000 and 80,000 Arabs. In 2023, Gaza had 2.2 million Arabs. Gaza was under Egypt’s control until the Six Day War, after which Israel offered to return Gaza to Egypt along with the Sinai, but Egypt refused to accept Gaza. Under Article 43 of the Hague Regulations (Convention IV), Israel had no choice but to administer Gaza after Egypt’s refusal. Article 43 also mandates that Israel occupy the West Bank. How often have you heard America media mention Article 43?
In response to Palestinian demands, in 2005 Israel withdrew from Gaza allowing Gazans to have total civil control. Soon thereafter, Gazans elected Hamas to be their government. In 1967, Gaza had 354,000 to 394,000 people, while in 2005, it had grown to approximately 1.3 million to 1.4 million. That sure is a strange type of genocide where the targeted group increases by one million.
No Genocide During the War in Gaza
On October 7, 2023, Hamas, the official government of Gaza, ignored the "Tahdiya" (unofficial time of calm) and attacked Southern Israel raping and murdering Jewish men, women, and children and anyone else in Israel. on October 7, 2023, the exact day of the Hamas attack, Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) expressed solidarity with Palestinians. October 7th was the worse pogrom since the Holocaust. DSA issued “End the Violence, End the Occupation, Free Palestine.” Occupation? After the Israel government forced over 8,500 Jews to leave Gaza in 2005, there were no Jew in Gaza. Then, Israel Prime Minister Ariel Sharon said that if there were peace with Gaza, then Israel would likewise leave The West Bank. Within two weeks, Gaza militants resumed cross-border shelling and rocket attacks. Then, Gaza elected Hamas as its government.
October 7th was not the last of Hamas’ attacks on Israel. Since Oct 7th Hamas has fired tens of thousands of projectiles into Israel and the only thing which stopped the attacks was the IDF occupation of Gaza. One of the smaller blood libels is that Jews justified Hamas’ single attack on October 7th to wipe out the Gazans. The reality is that Hamas and then Hezbollah attacks never stopped and there was no genocide.
Two neutral military experts on genocide are John Spencer, West Point Chair of Urban Warfare Studies and Colonel Richard Kemp, British Army Colonel and the former Commander of British Forces in Afghanistan. Both are highly prominent figures in global military strategy who have extensively published analyses arguing that Israel’s actions in Gaza do not meet the legal or practical definitions of genocide. In fact, the IDF has implemented more measures to protect civilians than any other modern military. You will never hear this fact on the US media.
