ALPERN AT LARGE - Jew-Hatred from either the Left or Right is nothing new—but it’s a tired, torn, ignorant, and childish cop-out with lots and lots of evil and heinous consequences that has repeatedly resulted throughout the last several years.
And while the Right has been all-too-often blamed for indulging in Jew-Hatred, the Left has always been just as horrible (blame Jews, blame the Joos, blame the Jooooos!).
It’s as inaccurate, immoral, and inhuman as it gets, but it’s probably part of much of the blaming and racism that thrives in the deeper and less-developed part of the human brain, with a need for ongoing education and people-interactions to allow our higher neocortex the ability to over-ride those primitive cerebral/central nuclei we’re born with.
Part of all the answer, of course, is picking up a history book or ten while we’re in school, and making sure we have history teachers that tell us the truth…rather than reinvent it for some sickly reinvention and rewriting of a history with a completely made-up narrative.
As in… “America was always the good guys”, which had to be fought (most of us reading this absolutely learned for the past 50+ years that such an opinion needed to be limit-set with facts and stories proving the opposite…America has had quite a checkered history with unforgiveable eras and actions).
Now, of course, we’ve got the “America was always the bad guys” which also has to be fought (and waaaaaaaaay too many of more youthful, socioeconomically unempowered, and otherwise-dysphoric and detached among us will never know that this America-BAD, along with West-BAD, and White People-BAD is untrue and evil).
Enter Iran.
Enter the habitual Gripers (Trump-Derangement Syndrome, Orange Man Bad, Trump is Satan, etc.) …usually leaning to the Left, and who don’t represent as many of the honest liberals amongst us as much as their screaming might make them wish.
Enter the habitual Groypers (Nick Fuentes, far-right/alt-right trolls and activists who ARE white supremacists, with Pepe the Frog as their mascot)…who too often besmirch the reputation of fair-minded conservatives throughout the nation.
Both the Gripers and Groypers have so much anger and energy that even those who are otherwise Left-leaning, or Right-leaning, or Independent look at them and wonder “what is going on here, with you folks—hate Trump, decry his B.S., but the things said and the steam coming out of your ears every damned day is…MENTAL!”.
John Fetterman and Bill Maher are probably NEVER going to be conservatives, but they know history, that it’s being reinvented, and that while President Trump can easily open his yap and be “King of the A-Holes” again and again on any given day… his policies and the historical/present-day issues can’t be ignored!
And blaming the Jews (those Joos!) both deflects from the reality and inhumanity of our geopolitical nightmares, and it won’t help any liberal causes…but it might get a few people killed (actually, in this nation, it already has and is getting people killed).
Our college campuses being flooded with Qatari and Dark Left money, the complete false narratives promulgated by the United Nations (truly in bed with the worst of the Gaza/Hamas terrorists), and the widespread denial that Gaza is a failed proto-Palestine…all made the 10/7/2023 massacre in Israel out to be:
“Israel and its Jewish supporters are the Nazis, Israel is apartheid, and Israel is pulling the strings of world economics and politics”
And forget about “this is what ‘Never Again’ looks like”.
Meanwhile, once-respected conservative journalists and podcasters Candace Owens and Tucker Carlson (and perhaps Megyn Kelly) have truly entered the alternate Groyper Universe, and people who once enjoyed watching them want NOTHING to do with them because they’ve lost their damned minds…
…and if JD Vance doesn’t find a way to distance himself from Tucker Carlson, it’ll be Marco Rubio, and absolutely not JD Vance, who will be the likely 2028 GOP presidential candidate.
No one likes a habitual Trump-is-Satan/screaming/profanity-laced and brittle zombie, and no one likes a habitual Groyper zombie (oh, those awful Joos!). Right, Left, or Independent, crazy and inaccurate is just plain wrong no matter how stressed-out we all are.
We’ll all need to work with those Muslims who don’t want to be tied in with the Islamist overlords of Tehran (who are the brain trust of Hamas, Houthis, Hezbollah, etc. who’ve killed and terrorized the world for years, and have given the security industry, TSA, and all sorts of Big Brother job security for half a century).
Muslims here and in the Middle East (think Saudi Arabia and Egypt and Jordan) may not like Israel, and may feel cornered themselves, but they KNOW that Iran’s Islamist regime is the worst of the worst of the WORST.
Enter Iranian champion wrestler Saleh Mohammadi (I doubt he’s Jewish!) who just died like a common criminal—hung for protesting his modern-day Nazi government.
Enter the many Muslim women in Iran slain for showing their face and/or hair “incorrectly”.
Enter up to 40,000 Iranians who just got slaughtered because of their protests as recently as January of this year.
Shall these folks remain ignored by all those habitual Gripers who’ve been screaming (loudly!) about the plight of Gazans and even their Hamas terrorist leaders with their “from the River to the Sea” chants.
Did Iran only kill the Jewish protesters 1-2 months ago? Have they limited their attacks on Westerners to Jews only?
Finally, enter Joe Kent, who is supposed to have been a counter-intelligence expert, and who for years knew what everyone knew—Iran’s wanted a nuclear bomb for years, no less than Pakistan or India or North Korea (especially North Korea!), and they’ve been a clear and present in-your-face danger for years.
Joe Kent has been on record so many times supporting action to limit or take out Iran’s current regime (not Iran, but their Islamist regime) that his recent “I am resigning, I oppose the Iran conflict as unnecessary, and I oppose the Israel and Israel-American lobby for dragging us in an unnecessary war” is blatantly suspect.
Both honest liberal and conservative observers know SOMETHING is up, and SOMETHING doesn’t make sense here, and SOMETHING is gravely concerning about Mr. Kent statements, and their timing:
- Apparently, Mr. Kent may be in trouble for leaking intelligence documents, or maybe he’s dissatisfied with not being promoted in government, and maybe he just wants to make some major coin as a guest commentator for MS NOW.
- Those military and political commentators and other officials who liked Mr. Kent, and remember that his wife died at the hands of ISIS (a Sunni-based terrorist group, and not particularly-affiliated with Iran), and remember his many “Iran IS a threat” statements for years DID make sense, are just baffled.
- Why didn’t Mr. Kent resign before the conflict, and not after the worst of the conflict, and the leadership of Tehran is all but completely enucleated?
- Why is Mr. Kent throwing the blame for the Iranian conflict at Israel and the majority of American Jews, when most of the West and the rest of the world have lived in fear of what the hell Iran was going to do next for decades?
The only ones happy with Mr. Kent right now are the habitual Gripers and the habitual Groypers who keep proving that their credibility can always just keep getting less and less and less…and who thrive upon dividing the West.
Mr. Kent promoting Jew-Hatred? Telling the world that Iran, whose leadership kept screaming and proclaiming and ACTING on its nuclear weapon ambitions, isn’t a threat?
Would a nuclear mushroom cloud over a major American or Western city have been enough of a “sign” for Mr. Kent, the Gripers and the Groypers who want to blame those Jews (those Joos!) for this conflict?
Or maybe this “intelligence-expert” wants to ignore (like so many do), that with the end of an Iranian Islamist regime comes the threat of a lack of oil to China (just as we’re seeing with the change of the Venezuelan situation) and a grave wound to the influence of Russia throughout the world.
To say NOTHING of how Iran’s regime change would unite the Middle East with respect to peace, economics, and risks of future wars.
Either way, Mr. Kent’s statements and timing are no good, and to anyone (even if you just haaaaaaaaaaate Trump) who’s read the newspapers or watched the news for the past 50 years, there’s clearly a much bigger, much more bizarre story here.
Or maybe Mr. Kent has—like Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and Nick Fuentes—chosen to just become another right-wing Groyper, who wants attention, money, or is just disaffected with his life.
Because it’s just too damned easy, inaccurate and immoral as it truly is, to yet (again!) blame the Jews (those Joos!).
