THE VIEW FROM HERE - The term Unitary Executive Theory fails to connote its extreme danger to Americans. That’s one reason this column often referred to it as a Military Dictatorship. See Showdown With Unitary Executive Today, the Supreme Court took a much anticipated giant step to destroy Congress’ Constitutional role. Chief Justice Roberts referred to Congress’ legislative role as a “dried husk,” thereby foreshadowing Congress’ doom as an equal and independent branch of government. Henceforth, the President will have the unfettered right to decide which laws to enforce. The Unitary Executive Theory is no longer designed to merely free the President from Congressional oversight but has become a “Führerstaat” – that is, the President’s total supremacy over all of government, making him above all laws.
Barbarians Are Indisputably in Control of America
Barbarians include people who are uncivilized, aggressive, brutal, cruel, etc. Barbarism rules by the strongest, the most violent, and the most psychopathic. Recent examples are Bashar al-Assad who used chemical weapons on his own people, Kim Jong-un with arbitrary public executions and labor camps, Vladimir Putin, two invasions of Ukraine, kidnapping and hostage taking of Ukranian children plus murder of innocent civilians. In the recent past, there was Joseph Stalin with his KGB and starvation of 2.5 to 3 million Ukrainians in the 1930's, and Hitler and his Nazi cohorts such as Stephen Miller, er,. Joseph Goebbels, Hermann Göering, etc.
With the backing of US Supreme Court Chief Justice Roberts and Senate Majority Leader Sen. John Thune, Donald Trump is already high the barbarism ladder. The typical pattern has been for the thug to seize power after which he institutes his reign of terror. In Trump’s case, Roberts, Thune, the Heritage Foundation, the Federalist Society, invented the barbaric Unitary Theory and then found their Fuhrer in the form of Donald Trump. In contrast, only after the Nazis had seized control did the German Weimar legislature (The Reichstag) enact “Führerstaat,” providing Hitler the right to murder Germans and non Germans alike in pursuing what Hitler claimed was Germany’s national interest. There is no substantive structural difference between the “Führerstaat” from what Chief Justice John Roberts has done for Donald Trump with his decision in Trump v. United States, 603 U.S. 593 (2024). Other justices had brought to Chief Justice Roberts attention that his majority opinion in Trump vs United States would authorize Trump to engage in murder if he claims his actions were part of his core constitutional duties. Because Roberts refused to modify his opinion and instead he expressly provide absolute immunity for any an all criminal behavior as to Trump’s core duties, Roberts granted Trump the right not only to endless bribery, blackmail, any and all corruption but also to murder anyone he claims stood in the way of his carrying out one of his “core duties.” See Roberts’ Murder Ruling
Chief Justice Roberts’ anticipated ruling is ironically named "Trump v. Slaughter." It will destroy Congress’ legislative role under the Constitution. When Congress passes legislation, it often creates a new agency within administrative branch. Because the agencies’ legal purpose is to carry out Congressional intent, the agencies operate independent of the President’s control. Thus, the President may fire agency employees only for "inefficiency, neglect of duty, or malfeasance in office.” Chief Justice Roberts, however, believes that the US Constitution grants the President unfettered power to fire whomever he pleases. In brief, the President is free to ignore Congress.
One should note that under Trump vs. United States, Chief Justice Roberts’ has already held that Trump may summarily execute any American whose death he claims advances one of his core duties. Thus, Chief Justice Roberts’ likely ruling in Trump v Slaughter is superfluous. On the other hand, mass murder of commissioners and other employees could make it difficult for Trump to replace the dead commissioners. Thus, Chief Roberts is providing Trump a less off-putting means to force compliance with his dictates.
A Return to Barbarism Was Inevitable
In 2018, this column pointed out Dichotomy, i.e. polarization, ends in violence. See Dichotomy & Polarization Bring Violence When one small segment of society seizes control of the government, it can only govern by violence against the majority. The Hamas-loving segment of the Woke Dems would be take the same authoritarian route to eliminate GOP and Jews. When a government operates based a widespread Centrist consent, it need not suppress opposition voices. Isolated violent mass murderers like Timothy McVeigh are a criminal law enforcement matter. Pelosi’s Identity Politics, aka, Wokeism, however, provoked the White Nationalists into the Tea Baggers movement and then into MAGA, whom Justice Roberts et alia are using to impose a barbaric tyranny on America. See 2021 article Nancy Pelosi Extremist.
The Call Is Coming from Inside the House
The Supreme Court’s barbaric Führerstaat cannot allow people to retain federal inalienable rights. When people have inalienable rights, they file lawsuits against the federal government for violating those rights. When ICE deports a US Citizen, it is important that the courts not recognize the citizen has an inalienable right to liberty. When the President may murder whomever he desires to advance one of his core duties, no person has the inalienable right to Life. If Trump sends peaceful protestors to concentration camps, they should thank him for his leniency. BTW, concentration camps morph into death camps.
Stop Saying, “It Cannot Happen Here,” When it Is Already Happening Here
In the United States, mass murder means the killing of three or more people at one time. The September 2, 2025 first strike on the Caribbean boat people was mass murder, the second strike was not only murder but a war crime, and the additional killings turned Trump into a mass, spree murderer – all are lawful for Trump under Trump v United States. Trump should have no more right to falsely claim that the boat people are an imminent threat to the United States than Hitler had to claim that Jews and Gypsies were a threat to Germans Aryans. Trump has announced he will use the same military tactics against Americans whom he terms “the enemy within.” Try to tell me that age of American barbaric Führerstaat has not arrived!
Do not lie to yourself and say that Donald Trump, JD Vance, Chief Justice Roberts, Sen. John Thune, and a host of other Heritage Foundation and the Federalist Society devotees are not becoming America’s Joseph Goebbels, Hermann Göering, Julius Streicher, Rudolph Hess, Heinrich Himmler, and other Nazi mass murderers and war criminals.
