SOCAL FIRES - As Southern California begins the long road to recovery in the wake of the devastating wildfires that have claimed at least 27 lives and reduced 13,800 structures to ashes, the need for community support has never been greater. While the visual smoke may have faded, the impact of these fires lingers, leaving countless families and emergency responders in desperate need of help.
In these trying times, kindness and generosity light the path forward.
Under the leadership of Chef Eric Greenspan and the Tehachapi Grain Project, RC Provisions has risen to the challenge, donating 10,000 pounds of chili and over 5,000 pounds of meat to vital organizations, including World Central Kitchen, Dream Center LA, the Justin Turner Foundation, Operation BBQ Relief, and the Guy Fieri Foundation. These organizations work tirelessly to provide warm, nourishing meals to displaced families and the brave first responders on the front lines.
Yet the need is still great. Matt Giamela, owner of RC Provisions, is urging individuals and businesses to join this effort. “Now is the time to come together,” Giamela said. “By supporting these incredible organizations, we can bring food and hope to those who need it most. Every donation matters.” Other local heroes, including Boneyard Bistro, Langer’s Deli, and Giamela’s Submarine Sandwiches, have also stepped up, ensuring that no one in need goes hungry during this crisis.
