Will Los Angeles be ‘Woke’ Enough to Re-Elect Jackie Lacey?

LOS ANGELES

LEANING RIGHT-Although "woke" lately has come to mean being sympathetic to the rights and potential double-standards of criminal standards and police interactions of black Americans versus white Americans, another consideration of "wokeness" has also occurred:

1) Lack of enforcement of ALL police enforcement of the law.

2) Civil unrest that belongs in no American city, let alone ANY city that purports to civilized, law and order, and appropriate adherence to inappropriate and violent behavior.

3) Allowing criminal elements of the City, homeless or otherwise, to run amok.

4) Attacks on the police, including black police officers.

In short:

THOSE FOLLOWING THE LAW ARE NOT THE BAD GUYS. THOSE CAUSING CIVIL UNREST AND KNOWINGLY BREAK THE LAW ARE THE BAD GUYS. LOS ANGELES HAS BEEN A MODEL FOR COMMUNITY-BASED POLICING, AND HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE LUNACY IN MINNEAPOLIS, PORTLAND, OR SEATTLE.

So enter City of Los Angeles Mayor Garcetti, who has switched sides against current LA County D.A. Jackie Lacey, who is the first black DA in L.A. County history.

Are the killings of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor worthy of close scrutiny and HOT debate?

Yes.

Shall L.A. County suffer at the hands of George Soros-funded candidate George Gascón?

No.

Did California do well to get rid of outside influence from the billionaire Koch brothers?

Yes.

Does California do well to get of outside influence from billionaire George Soros?

Also, and in no uncertain terms, YES.

Has George Gascón royally screwed up San Francisco, where property crimes shot up more than any other city in the state, auto thefts shot up, violent crime shot up, and drug addiction and its enabling soared?

Also, and in no uncertain terms, YES.

Does Gascon merit the condemnation of the Association of Deputy District Attorneys, and his dark-money backing by George Soros?

Yes.

Does Mayor Garcetti have a history of being bought out by well-healed special interests with agendas that will harm the begeezus of Angelenos, and especially black and Latino Angelenos?

Heck, YES.

Do Angelenos want to vote in the hideous agenda that has caused chaos in San Francisco, Philadelphia, and other major American cities?

Hopefully, NO.

If anything, the sudden flip-flopping of Mayor Garcetti (of all people, Mayor Garcetti who has is close to New York Mayor Bill DeBlasio in earning the distrust of his constituents?)

Good Lord, YES.

If Angelenos want to invite chaos into their City based on a faux awakening of "wokeness" then that is their prerogative.

Otherwise, choose the right person to balance Community-Based Policing: Jackie Lacey.

To the Citizens of L.A. County: Please let this no-brainer of a choice to re-elect Jackie Lacey not fall to a lack of brains that would lead to the election of a terrible, terrible County D.A.--George Gascón--who will undoubtedly do to Los Angeles what he did to San Francisco.

BY ALL THAT IS DECENT AND "TRULY WOKE" PLEASE WAKE UP AND RE-ELECT JACKIE LACEY!

Because our lives depend on it.
