THE VIEW FROM HERE - Those of us who have extraordinary memory of TV trivia recognize that the words, Yada, Yada, Yada, were used in the Seinfeld when characters were discussing sensitive subjects and wanted to omit some vital portion. See Seinfeld 158 Today, Americans employ the same technique when discussing the US Constitution. Actually, no one discusses the US Constitution; they just scream about it making certain to omit the section which totally repudiates the point for which they so confidently cite it. Both Dems and GOP yada, yada, yada over the sections they dislike.
The Constitution’s Preamble is one paragraph of 329 words. The Preamble’s first purpose for the Constitution is to “form a more perfect Union.” Both the Dems and the GOP are dominated by a small faction of power-mad thugs whose objective is to brush aside the US Constitution in order to vanquish anyone who disagrees with them. Neither the Unitary Executive supporters (hereinafter Unitarians) nor Dem Wokeism want a more perfect Union; they mean to destroy the Union and replace it with their brands of totalitarianism. Both Unitarianism and Wokeism are ideologies that reject individual inalienable rights.
A small section of GOP has decided that America should be run by a military dictatorship under the Unitary Executive Theory where both Congress and the Courts are subordinate to the whims of whoever is President. It is easy to attribute Unitarian totalitarianism to MAGA, but in reality, it is not a MAGA doctrine. In order to convert the President into a dictator, the Heritage Foundation and the Federalist Society must get rid of the declaration’s individual inalienable rights. As Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization 597 U.S. 215 (2022) showed, when someone such as a pregnant woman asserts her inalienable rights to Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness, her rights can thwart the Unitarian goal to dictate everything to everyone else. Dobbs follows the reasoning of Dred Scott v. Sandford, 60 U.S. 393 (1856) which withheld the inalienable of Liberty from Blacks, whereas Dobbs withholds it from women, who are subject to the whims of the voters in each state. As we shall see, Dobbs’ thinking will be used to ignore citizens’ rights not to have the US military deployed in cities to arrest and incarcerate citizens without Due Cause. Notable advocates of the Unitary Theory are Chief Justice John Roberts, Associate Justice Samuel Alito, and Senate Majority Leader John Thune. See Specter of Dictatorship
Likewise, Wokeism rejects individual inalienable rights. Both the Nazis and Hamas first presented themselves as reformers and social justice advocates to protect the public. As soon as they got power, they became totalitarians who destroyed their own societies. Unlike Nazis, who became pariahs, Hamas has become the daring of Left Wing Wokeism.
Trump’s timidity as evidenced by his refusal to allow Israel to force Hamas into a complete unconditional surrender is ruining Trump’s so-called peace plan. Also, Trump’s premature stopping Israel from destroying Iran’s nuclear and military capacity has the IDF have allowed Iran to restart its nuclear research and ballistic missile production. Likewise, Trump’s excessive power has allowed him to subvert foreign policy as to Ukraine and NATO. Had Sen John Thune not coerced Senators to approve atrocious Trump appointees, Trump would not be surrounded by loyal idiots advising him to make horrible decisions. If Americans knew the history of Hitler and Germany, they would know that Hitler brought disaster until Nazism because he had too much power. Likewise, Congress and the Supreme Court have allowed the Presidency to have too much power, and fatal errors are being made. Power-mad oligarchs do not care. Their motto is Too Much is Not Enough.
Presently, the more immediate threat comes from the GOP Unitary Theory. Not only did Chief Justice Roberts grant Trump absolute immunity from criminal acts including murdering his opponents, e.g., the enemy within. The greatest dangerous lurks in Trump’s threat to use militias and the US Marines against US civilians within our borders. Right now we Americans are in the grooming phase where ICE has arrested US citizens falsely claiming that they were illegals or that they had attacked ICE agents while lower courts issue injunctions against ICE and the against new army which Trump is building within the Department of Homeland Security, the Supreme Court’s keeps overruling the lower courts. In case anyone thinks that ICE goal is to kick out immigrants, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem explained that the real purpose of her troops in Los Angeles was to liberate Angelenos from its burdensome and socialist government. See Noem - Liberate LA
More recently, the Unitarians are again subjecting Congress to the whims of the Executive branch. As should be no surprise to any sentient being, at Trump’s direction his Department of Justice is ignoring the law, which Trump himself signed, requiring the release of all Epstein Documents by 5:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2025. Here’s how court orders work for the average citizens, when the court says, “produce all the records by 5:00 pm,” anyone who produces only some documents, the citizen risks being held in contempt. Trump’s DOJ did not even follow legal procedure to request more time from Congress due to the complexity of the task. It simply awaited until the last day saying, “we will give the rest when and if we want.” Congress knows that under Chief Justice Roberts, the President may ignore Congressional and Court orders. What Can Congress Do
Congress Is Impotent
Congress cannot force Trump to produce anything. Long judicial process short: Suppose after November 2026, the new Congress with a Dem majority gets a court order for all files to be produced. Chief Justice Roberts will quash the order. In brief, the Unitary Executive advocates are using the Epstein files to show that Trump need listen to Congress only if and when he wants.
There is no Need To See if Unitarianism or Wokeism is Worse
The role for the average American is quite simple. Since the percentage of totalitarians in either party is small (ca 15%), it is possible to end their power by voting for whomever is a Centrist. It matters naught whether a voter supports a GOP Centrist or a Dem Centrist as long as the voter rejects the extremists.
