THE VIEW FROM HERE - “Extremism in pursuit of virtue or of evil is a vice.” Plato and Aristotle In fact, all classical philosophers recognized that extremism in pursuit of any objective was a vice. In 1887, Lord Acton made a complementary observation that “Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.”
All would-be tyrants believe that they pursue virtue, but in order for their extremism to gain enough power to be ruinous to their country, they need polarization. For Germans, the 1919 Treaty Of Versailles was the threat to German success. Disregarding the Treaty was easy since it was clear that France and England had no interest in enforcing it. The Nazis, however, needed an on-going threat so they blamed the German Communists and the Jews for having stabbed Germans in the back. Both Communists and Jews were classified as current evils. Hatred and fear of others is a good focal point around which to form a political movement.
The aspect of history which virtually no one can recognize is that it is not the actual beliefs which result in raping, pillaging and mass murder, but rather it is the polarization of society where one group firmly believes that another group is irredeemably evil and must be wiped out. Extremism is not limited by a sense of morality, but is limited by how much power the tyrant amasses. All polarized societies believe The Other to be cause of all their problems. The American GOP and Dems should take lessons from Nazi Germany to understand how both are treading down a similar road. The Woke Dems are extremists, who in the long run, are the greater threat to our Republic than Trump. In fact, the Woke Dems’s extremism has relied on a submerged anti-Semitism for years and have been following the Nazi pattern of excluding Jews from education, business and government based upon the Dems’ Woke DEI agenda (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion). One would think that after the national rejection of Woke Ideology in the November 2024 election, the Dems should kick out the so-called Progressives. Rather, the Dems have gone hog wild into Woke anti-Semitism, spewing for endless anti-Israel Blood Libels about the Jews committing genocide in Gaza. When the representative of the Israeli government used facts to show that ABC’s coverage of Gaza is based on known falsehoods, the ABC interviewer justified such anti-Semitism on the basis that “Hamas provided the information” that the IDF was intentionally using aid distribution to kill Gazans. Interestingly, she did admit that Hamas’ information is habitually false. That, however, did not matter because ABC’s tells people that the source of its story is Hamas. In ABC’s reasoning, intentionally reporting false stories about the IDF murdering innocent civilian is OK as long as ABC mentions that the information comes from Hamas, which ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN often omit.
The Woke Dems are following the Nazi to ostracize Senator John Fetterman because he has been a supporter of Israel and points out that the media is publishing Hamas propaganda and not objective news. The Woke Dems claim that Fetterman is mentally deficient because he does not attend all Congressional votes and he does not endorse the Woke anti-Semitic lies. These are the same Woke Dems who insisted that Joe Biden had no cognitive decline. Biden, however, was a fountain of anti-Jewish Blood Libels.
GOP and Dems Follow the Nazi Model
The GOP follows MAGA and the Dems follow WOKE because they lust for power. Both paint themselves as saviors in an existential battle against evil and their operating principle is By Any Means Necessary. There are great similarities between Hitler, on the one hand, and Trump, Nancy Pelosi, and other Woke Dems on the other hand.
Hitler, Trump, and Pelosi surround themselves with sycophants, opportunists, and psychopaths . A difference between Pelosi and other power-mongers such as Trump, Hitler, and Mussolini is that as Speaker of the House Pelosi did not command the executive role. The reason the Dems hate Sen. Fetterman is that he is not intoxicated by power. Unlike Sen. Joni Ernst who caved into MAGA, Sen. Fetterman does not succumb. While Wokers are a gaggle of backstabbing, power-mongers seeking a leader, MAGA already has its tyrant.
The Grand Folly of MAGA and Wokeism
Both the GOP and the Dems are mixture of wise and insanely stupid policies, but all GOP and all Dems must show allegiance to all extremism or be blacklisted. While Hitler’s obsession was murdering Jews, Trump’s parallel is Tariffs. Trump likes Jews because he sees Jews as winners, which ironically is the same reason Wokers hate Jews. The Wokers have reason to cast Jews as world class villains. We destroy the core of Woke ideology that the world is divided into the evil Oppressors (Whites) and the holy Oppressed (minorities such as Blacks, and Hamas). Woke dogma claims that the sole and only reason that there is not equality of outcome between Whites and Blacks is White racism and oppression. Because no minority in Western Civilization has suffered more persecution for over 2000 years than Jews, the success of the Jews totally destroys the entire Woke Ideology. Thus, Pelosi classified Jews as Oppressors. From a strategic standpoint, Pelosi’s approach was brilliant. With the French 2011 publication of The Grand Replacement that Muslims were replacing White Europeans, it was a simple step to claim that American Jews were behind the Replacement of Whites by Blacks on the claim that Blacks were too dumb to engineer their own take-over. Hence, the nation heard the absurd chant in 2017 at Charlottesville, “Jews Shall Not Replace Us.” Pelosi’s agenda was the supplanting of Whites as soon as enough minority voters became the majority of voters and appropriated the wealth to which the Blacks were entitled. Trump is correct about two things: (1) Woke DEI which vilely polarizes America needs to be excised from our institutions and (2) criminal illegals should be removed. However, his serious personality disorders, i.e., Histrionic and Narcissism, along with his Paranoia, make it impossible for him to see reality. His worse delusion is his decades long belief that Tariffs are great. His deportation of criminal illegals waivers between realistic and irrationally racist. Due to his grandiose paranoid delusion that he is a Savior and his narcissistic rages at everyone who disagrees with him, Trump has turned the American Presidency into a dictatorship where his latest whim is the law. As a result, Trump believes that anything which stands in his way should be vanquished. (Let’s not forget -- Trump is a world class grifter, which proves the GOP has lost its soul.)

Joseph Goebbles, Heinrich Himmler, Martin Bormann as well as other unquestioning Nazi, Trump has Stephen Miller (advisor), JD Vance (VP), Pam Bondi (DOJ), Sen. John Thune, and other obedient MAGAs. Only true believers are in the inner circle so that Hitler and Trump had no constraint on their power. The West uses 20/20 vision of the Nazi era and ignores that Nazis did not begin with the Final Solution. It was lengthy process. We also tell ourselves the false morality myth that America won WWII because we were virtuous and the Nazis were evil. In reality, the Nazi regime crashed because its leader was seriously mentally ill and made extraordinary blunders. Hitler’s generals knew that even the blitzkrieg of Poland was folly, but Neville Chamberlain’s appeasements had brought Hitler so much success that he, like Trump, believed he knew more than his generals. Another similarity is Trump’s Histrionic disorder which makes it impossible for him to extrapolate beyond the moment. Trump is oblivious that his insane tariffs are ruining decades of American good will around the globe. Of course, no one could convince Hitler that invading Poland and then Russia would have disastrous long-term results until the horrors eventually befell Germany. Then, Hitler blamed the generals whom he had ignored.
Although no Dem has yet won the Woke crown for November 2026, the Wokers are certain that more Wokeism is a winning move. They cite that the GOP has a 37% favorable rating, while ignoring that Dems have 30% favorable rating. Polarization always leads to extremism, and extremism always elevates leaders who tolerate no dissent. Each extremist core believes that it alone knows The Truth and The Other is an existential evil which must be obliterated. Insane tariffs have become the MAGA hallmark, while anti-Semitism is becoming the Woke banner. The Woke Dems are totally committed to Hamas’ winning in Gaza and the destruction of Netanyahu and Israel.
Nazi Germany had no Jewish group like the American Jewish Committee and the Anti-Defamation League who support Wokeism, knowing that it results in the media’s anti-Semitism, the murderous attacks on us Jews in the streets, and it promotes Israel’s destruction. With each attack, the AJC and the ADL rush forth with condemnations, while remaining silent that Dem Wokeism is the source of 100% of America’s Woke anti-Semitism.
