After Major Cleanup, Tents & RV's Creep Back Along Grand Boulevard

HOMELESSNESS IN VENICE - The "two steps forward, one step behind," approach to the homelessness dilemma on the streets of Venice remains frustrating for residents just blocks from the beach as we enter another summer & tourist season.

The photos here unfortunately display the depth of the crisis as once the area is cleaned and clear, a whole new wave of tents, structures and vehicles bounce back to the area around the post office and Windward Plaza.

For what is in some regards the gateway to the beach, this particular area needs 41.18 designation.
