Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra Celebrates John Coltrane’s 100th Birthday

The Hollywood Bowl celebrates what would have been jazz legend John Coltrane’s 100th birthday with an evening featuring the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis.

Grammy-nominated saxophonist Lakecia Benjamin opens the program with a special centennial tribute to Coltrane, conducted by Jonathan Taylor Rush. The celebration continues with Marsalis and the 15-member Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra performing music honoring Coltrane’s groundbreaking legacy.
