The City of Commerce will host a free Small Business Expo offering local entrepreneurs, startups and established businesses direct access to financing information, government programs and business-development resources.
Representatives from the City, U.S. Small Business Administration, Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation, financial institutions, utility providers and business-support organizations will be available to provide one-on-one guidance.
Attendees can also learn about the new Commerce Advantage Business Grants Program, which offers grants of up to $50,000 to eligible existing Commerce businesses and up to $25,000 in seed funding for qualifying startups and businesses planning to open in the city.
Mayor Kevin Lainez will deliver the keynote address. The evening will also include a networking mixer, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and refreshments, music, raffles and giveaways.
