LONG BEACH — Runners and fitness enthusiasts will hit the streets of Long Beach on Sunday, May 31, for the LBS Financial Long Beach Classic Half & 5K, a scenic community race event showcasing some of Southern California’s most iconic waterfront views.

The event features both a half marathon and a 5K course, taking participants through Marine Stadium and the Belmont Shore area along a 13.1-mile route designed to highlight the coastal beauty of Long Beach.

Organizers expect the event to sell out with approximately 2,500 participants and an estimated 3,000 spectators attending throughout the day.

The start and finish lines, along with the post-race festival, will be located at the Marine Stadium Boat Launch area. Following the races, participants and spectators can enjoy a food, wine, and beer tasting festival featuring local vendors and exhibitors.
