EmpowerLA 2026 Homelessness Counts: Virtual Information Session
The Department of Neighborhood Empowerment (DONE) will host a virtual informational session for Homelessness Liaisons, Neighborhood Council Board Members, and Stakeholders to prepare for the 2026 Homelessness Counts, including the large-scale Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count led by the Los Angeles Homelessness Services Authority (LAHSA).

The event will be led by the Department and will feature a guest presentation from LAHSA, including Community Relations Coordinator Matthew Mitnick and Senior Coordinator Alicia Rose Duarte. The presentation will cover how to get involved in the 2026 Homelessness Count, including volunteer registration, training requirements, organizing efforts, and best practices to ensure an accurate and respectful count.
This event is open to Homelessness Liaisons, Neighborhood Council Board Members, and Stakeholders.
