I am running as a candidate to represent the people of the 8th City Council District of Los Angeles. As I seek this office, I ask you to join me in this quest for “change in the 8th” so that we may experience the safe, healthy, commercially vibrant business areas and neighborhoods that we so rightfully deserve.
This is our time. I have served this community as CEO of R.I.S.E. Financial Pathways formerly known as Community Financial Resource Center (CFRC) for over 20 years. Our accomplishments include having served over 104,000 people, delivered over $10.2 Million in Micro and Small Business Loans, created/retained over 3400 jobs, and assisted more than 300 families purchase their first homes.
I have volunteered throughout my non-profit career and served as a Commission for Department of Water and Power, the nation’s largest municipal utility, the California Commission for Economic Development and the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco – Affordable Housing Advisory Council.
