Start a Legal Defense Fund to Cover Red Light Camera Tickets

PERSPECTIVE … LITE-Several years ago, we received a ticket for a red light camera violation……. and paid it.

As it turns out, we could have ignored it. [link]

So, borrowing a page from Mayor Villaraigosa’s book, I am starting a legal defense fund to recoup the cost of the ticket.

The mayor has raised $123,500 [link] to pay for ethics fines and related legal costs in connection with receiving free tickets.

Our ticket was anything but free; therefore, the basis for my legal defense fund is on firmer ground.

A special thanks to Jay Beeber of the Sherman Oaks NC [link] for almost single-handedly eliminating the red light cameras.
