An Eerie Valentine’s Day to Remember
Pacific Symphony Pops Celebrates Tim Burton & Danny Elfman
February 13–14, 2026
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Pacific Symphony Pops presents a theatrical concert celebrating the dark romance and whimsical imagination of filmmaker Tim Burton and composer Danny Elfman. Featuring music from iconic films including Beetlejuice, Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Corpse Bride, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Big Fish, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the program brings Elfman’s gothic, playful, and emotionally rich scores vividly to life.
Led by conductor Sarah Hicks, the performances feature acclaimed violinist Sandy Cameron, a leading interpreter of Elfman’s music, along with the ethereal voices of California State University, Fullerton’s University Singers. Sweeping orchestral suites paired with visual elements create a surreal and cinematic concert experience for film lovers, music fans, and couples seeking an unconventional Valentine’s celebration.
