I am Melvin R. Snell, "Your Write-in Candidate," the Founder of L.A. Humanity Group Foundation, Advocating for Youth through “Conflict Resolution” on the campus of USC, Churches, Local Jails and Gang Intervention Program. 

Neighborhood Block Captain for over 15 year and Mid-City Neighborhood Council.

A former SEC Commission Agent in the Oil & Gas Industry, former Marketing Sales Agent for Phillip Morris U.S.A.; responsible for millions of dollars in Business Development.

I have owned two Small Businesses, trained & hired employees in the community for several years.

Volunteered for the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department with the Education Base Incarceration Program to help prevent Recidivision.

I will fight for more Transparency in our City Government.

I will bring together Business Leader’s and the Community to create jobs, with a plan of action.

I will look for a more humanitarian, method to assist our homeless population.

Develop a way to provide basic facilities, shower locally and strive to end hunger in our Community.

I will create a more cost effective approach to fix our infrastructure; (streets, trees, sidewalks).

Create a safe environment for our senior’s, Veterans and Youth to Live, Work and Play.

I strongly support the decriminalization of “Marijuana” and would rather see are Youth going to College than prison.
