# L’Shanah Tovah — Wishing You And Your Family A Sweet, Healthy And Peaceful New Year

As Rosh Hashanah begins, I want to personally extend my warmest wishes to my Jewish friends, our CityWatch readers and the Jewish community throughout Los Angeles and beyond.
Over the years, I have been fortunate to know and work with many members of the Jewish community, and I deeply value those friendships and the contributions they make to our city and our lives.
Rosh Hashanah is a time of reflection, renewal and hope — an opportunity to look back, appreciate what matters most and begin a new year with optimism and purpose.
In a world that can sometimes seem increasingly divided, I believe there is great value in the traditions that bring families and communities together and remind us of the importance of kindness, understanding and respect for one another.
To my Jewish friends and neighbors, may this new year bring you and your families good health, happiness, peace and many sweet moments.
