 THE VIEW FROM HERE - Benjamin Franklin’s fear that Americans would throw away the Republic which the US Constitution created has come true. The two competing forms of government were variations on totalitarianism – monarchy or democracy. Neither have effective checks and balances on government power. The British were unable to stop a demented King George III from driving the American colonies into revolt. Whenever there is a center of power, a circle of sycophants and power mongers accumulate. Great Britain had no mechanism to restrain King George even though everyone knew he was mentally incompetent. As science later confirmed, King George had the rare blood disorder porphyria. In a Republic, Parliament could have intervened, or there would have been some mechanism similar to our 25th Amendment. Instead, he ruled as a tyrant, for which Americans should be thankful and the Brits should rue to this day.

The Constitution’s framers realized that the Articles of Confederation had a central government which was too weak for the states to act like a nation. They also realized that a democracy was one step from a tyranny. In a democracy, the transitory will of the people is the law of the land and hence a democracy is prone to elect a power-mad President who would claim a mandate to do whatever he wills. In a democracy, the sole remedy is to vote for a new President when and if there are new elections. Then, the new President may claim a mandate to institute the rules he desires. This bipolar form of government was proposed by the American Political Scientists Association APSA in 1950, despite the fact it was diametrically opposed to the Republic. So, here America is 75 years later and we are no long a Republic but rather we morphed into a type democracy where the law is whatever Trump wishes it to me.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) justifies the abolition of the Department of Education because that is what the voters wanted. A private citizen, Elon Musk, can abolish the USAID because the President says he has a mandate to abolish any agency he dislikes. President Trump can order the US military to release water from California dams, which would have flooded farm lands and deprived Central California farmers of water during the dry season, because he won the election, and thus, he can meddle in the administration of the states. The military stopped the water release after state officials warned of the harm the water would do.

**Trump Is Not the First Power Monger to Ignore the Us Constitution**

In fact, the most egregious violator was Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, who trashed her constitutional duties to force the racist Woke DEI into all aspects of the government. No one knew that Pelosi was purging universities of Jews as we Jews were allegedly oppressors of everyone else. No voters knew that the FAA could not hire enough new air traffic controllers due to the DEI rule that each class had to have a certain percentage of minorities. As a result, class sizes were reduced so that they had the right percentage. If enough Blacks did not want to be air traffic controllers, a class of 100 trainees had to be reduced until interested Blacks were the correct percentage, or so the news claims. The most famous example of the harm Woke DEI did was the President of Harvard who thought calling for genocide of Jews was OK and who was also a serial plagiarist. Ivy League schools had “Gays for Hamas” while vice president Tim Walz saw nothing wrong with demonstrators who called for Death of Israel and Death to America.

**All These Woke DEI Programs Were Anti-constitutional**

Our founding document, the Declaration of Independence, holds that each individual has inalienable rights. It not only does not recognize Group Rights, it rejects them. The purpose of any government is to provide a framework which allows each person to maximize his individual alienable rights and any other government is illegitimate. “That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends (inalienable rights), it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government . . “ The US Constitution states that one purpose is to Secure the Blessings of Liberty. Our liberties are not based on which group some racist decided to assign us. Group Rights are the negation of individual inalienable rights.

The Dems ignored the Republic for years on end by substituting Woke DEI for individual inalienable rights throughout government, education and business based on the gargantuan falsehood that Woke DEI meant giving people a helping hand when it reality it was a racist, anti-Jewish subversion of the Republic which the Dems undertook solely because they had gained enough votes.

After the Centrists learned what was happening, they shifted to Trump to get rid of DEI programs. The Dems suck with Kamala Harris and Woke DEI racism sot that enough Center voters shifted rightward to give Trump a 1.6% victory.

While America has basically turned into a hybrid country – in practice a democracy but with a constitution establishing a Republic. From the beginning, Pelosi’s desire to kill the Republic was clear. When the minorities became the majority of voters, then they would vote away the Whites. In a democracy, the majority may vote away the rights of anyone since the rule of law is supreme. See Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, 597 U.S. 215 (2022) Thus, Pelosi’s plan was to change America in a democracy where the Dems had the votes got to decide all new policies. This is exactly what the Association of American Political Scientists envisioned.

**Guess What? Trump Got There First**

Trump or some smart advisors realized there was no need to wait for the Dems to play out their hand. Instead, Trump made his pitch to the centrist minorities, the centrist majorities, the centrist everyone. Although Barack Obama castigated the Black males for not sticking to the Woke racist game plan, enough realized that they were better off with individual inalienable rights in a Republic than to stick with the “school marms” who were dictating how they should live their lives.

Trump is behaving as if America were a full fledged democracy and not a Republic. Sen. John Thune violated his constitutional oath and has fully supported Trump’s understanding of the election results. The idiot Dems are screaming that they will “fight in the streets” – Yep, like the Jan 6th insurrectionists they are calling for violence in the streets because Trump beat them to the punch.

This mess is where polarization based on who gets the most votes leads a nation. Under Nancy Pelosi, the Dems were certain that the GOP would never get a chance to be up to bat, and thus, the Dems could score all the runs. The voters decided otherwise.
