#  The Top Issues Facing Los Angeles in 2024

ELECTION 2024 - Los Angeles faces a myriad of challenges in 2024. While the City has long been a beacon of hope and ambition, it grapples with pressing issues that demand immediate attention and concerted efforts from its leaders and residents alike. Here are some of the top issues shaping the landscape of Los Angeles in 2024:

1\. Housing Affordability Crisis: The soaring cost of living, coupled with stagnant wages, has exacerbated the housing affordability crisis in Los Angeles. Skyrocketing rents and home prices have pushed many residents to the brink of homelessness, straining social services and widening the gap between the haves and the have-nots. Addressing this issue requires innovative solutions, such as increasing affordable housing stock, implementing rent control measures, and providing assistance to low-income families.

2\. Homelessness Epidemic: Los Angeles continues to grapple with one of the most severe homelessness crises in the nation.
