Join us on May 9th for the debut of 'Skyline Cinema Club', LA Explained’s new rooftop film series at the historic Montalbán Theatre in the heart of Hollywood. This curated lineup celebrates cinema that captures the good, the bad, and the beautifully bizarre sides of Los Angeles—past, present, and future.​

From cult classics to iconic blockbusters, each screening pairs unforgettable films with gourmet food, craft drinks, and live entertainment—set against golden-hour skies, skyline views, and the neon glow of Hollywood history. With themed programming, surprise guests, and post-screening Q&amp;As, Skyline Cinema Club is more than a movie night—it’s an interactive love letter to the city that invented the silver screen.​
