Highlights from the free tours include art studio/gallery hopping in Highland Park; a visit in Chinatown with Homegirl Café and Homeboy Bakery; exploration of Pico Union’s Salvador Corridor; Pacoima’s Mural Mile; Lincoln Heights’ Plaza De La Raza; Mexican and Japanese dance in Little Tokyo; a visit in Boyle Heights with artist Lilia Ramirez, among others. All tours spotlight the vibrant Latin American culture that has shaped our city.

Commons that showcases culturally dynamic neighborhoods through the eyes of residents, public figures and renowned artists, who volunteer to share their unique perspective and passion for their neighborhood. Found L.A. is open to anyone who wants to organize a tour of their neighborhood, and for anyone who wants to learn more about the vast expanse that is Los Angeles. This program is made possible by funding from AirBnB and the Herb Alpert Foundation.

> The Avenue 50 Studio Gallery is a great example of an art gallery devoted to displaying and promoting the work of the diverse artistic population of Los Angeles. Eighteen years ago, it was the very first independent non-profit art gallery in Los Angeles not associated with another institution. Kathy Gallegos as Executive Director programs an exhibit around All Souls Day that deals with the Mexican Dia de los Muertos as a celebration of life... This year is no exception with two large altars being constructed along with the work of 16 other artists. Artist Raoul de la Sota will present a historic explanation to the exhibit and various other artists will discuss their work.
